The Ark’s Transition Year Work Experience Programme 2023

The Ark is delighted to announce our Transition Year Work Experience Programme 2023 which will take place from Monday 20th March to Friday 25th March.

This week-long programme promises to be an exciting week of activity for students with an interest in working in the arts sector and, in particular, working with children aged 2-12.

Participants will get an opportunity to experience many areas of the arts industry, from internal arts administration, artistic programming for music, visual arts, theatre and film, archiving, child participation processes, front of house/box office work and community engagement.

This is a hybrid programme with students participating mainly in-person at The Ark, plus some self-directed research at home during the 5 days of the Work Experience Programme.

Participants must be available for Work Experience during the week outlined above. Unfortunately no alternatives are available.
