Peat - At-Home Activities

To accompany our online stream of Peat by Kate Heffernan, here is a selection of activities connected to the show for children aged 8+ to enjoy at home.

On the edge of a town, in the middle of a bog, half way between a school and a housing estate, Rayy and Jo have come to dig a hole. Peat is the story of the things they bury, and the things they find.

Commissioned by The Ark and directed by Tim Crouch for ages 8+, Peat is a show for everyone who has ever wondered where things go when they leave us.

From Thursday 9 April at 12pm until Wed 15 April at midnight, Peat will stream live on and The Ark's Facebook page. To find out more about this online event, click here.

Using the activity sheet below, children aged 8+ can engage in a variety of activities by artist Mollie Molumby which tie into the show's themes, before or after watching the show online, or just on their own!
