At The Ark we believe in the arts for EVERY child. Following the publication of our 2025 Annual Report, we're celebrating the achievements of the past year.

We're delighted to share The Ark Annual Report 2025, marking a landmark year as we celebrated our 30th birthday while continuing to realise children's right to art and culture with ambition and joy.

Guided by The Ark Strategy 2024–2028, 2025 saw us produce and present ambitious artistic work for children, expand our programme for babies and very young children, and place child participation at the heart of our work through projects including Voyages, our 30th birthday exhibition co-curated by members of The Ark Children's Council.

Beyond our home in Temple Bar, we continued to reach children where they are, with 78% of our programme offered free of charge. More than 139,000 children, families and visitors engaged with our Creative Hubs libraries programme, a Dublin Arts Office and libraries initiative delivered by The Ark. Digital activity saw more than 15,000 children engaging with us through streamed performances and workshops watched from the comfort of their home or classroom.

Our valued partnerships with The Arts Council, the Department of Education, Dublin City Council, and Temple Bar Cultural Trust remain central to this success. We are also deeply grateful to basis.point and our corporate partners; Clancourt, Goodbody, INTO, and Mason Hayes & Curran.

Thank you to our artists, audiences, partners, staff, Board and funders for making this work possible.
