In line with the measures announced by An Taoiseach, The Ark is now closed to the public until further notice.

This year The Ark turns 25! In 1995 we were founded as Europe’s first dedicated cultural centre for children and between June - December 2020 we will celebrate our birthday with a jam-packed programme of amazing art for children aged 2-12. To help us achieve our ambitions for the year, we are excited to welcome our new 25th birthday sponsor, BDO.

The Ark is delighted to present its second annual BIG BANG Dublin! This is a first of its kind festival for Ireland, a thrilling new music festival for young music lovers of all kinds from 3-5 April 2020.

The Ark is proud to have been nominated for both the Judges' Special Award and for the Audience Choice Prize for The Haircut! at the Irish Times Irish Theatre Awards 2019.

Written and directed by Ark Artist in Residence Shaun Dunne as part of The Ark's Gaelscoil Choláiste Mhuire Neighbourhood Project in 2019, Iarscoláire will make its official premiere at Virgin Media Dublin International Film Festival 2020.
