Ark Access 2024 Round Up

The Ark Access for Schools programme is a targeted programme to bridge the gap between those who have regular access to the arts and those who don’t.

Ark Access also provides opportunities for professional artists to work closely with the participating schools. Teachers are provided with CPD (Continuing Professional Development) opportunities and online interactive classroom packs to increase engagement with The Ark as well as facilitating the teacher’s own development and ability to deliver arts-centered curricular activities in the classroom.

In 2024, we hosted a total of 124 classes for workshops, shows, and exhibitions through Ark Access For Schools. This resulted in over 1200 children and 150 teachers engaging in The Ark’s programme for free and helping us to achieve our vision of arts for EVERY child!

In the past year our Ark Access programme has grown from thirteen to twenty schools. Our current Ark Access schools are;

  • St. Audoen’s National School
