Trad Gigs for Children: MOXIE

To mark the end of our Me & The City programme, we open up our doors for you to come and take a look at what the children have been up to!

Come and meet our friends from A Playful City who have come to join us with their cool, purpose-built 'Pow Wow' area created with the award winning Sean Harrington Architects. The Pow Wow's fun and interactive design breathes life into the consultation process, making consultation meaningful and playful and allows people of all ages to give their ideas and opinions on how play can transform the spaces in their communities.

In Me & The City your class will discover and explore how a city is planned, created and developed. Working with artist Jole Bortoli, they will learn how architects work and look at artists who have created landmark sculptures and colourful big-scale street art.

Discover and explore the colours and textures of a city and its environment and how architects and artists create the iconic buildings, sculptures and street art within it.
