As part of the CYPA Artist-In-Residence scheme, The Ark has been selected to deliver specific opportunities and bespoke programmes for DCU students studying education throughout the academic year. This term kicked off with a very special performance as part of Tradfest 2026.

As 2025 nears an end, we have some updates to our Board that we would like to share with you.

Recently, we finished our residencies in Darndale Belcamp Integrated Childcare Service and in St. Joseph’s Early Childhood Development Service. These residencies are so important to allow us to reach more children in different setting across the country, helping us to uphold our vision of #artsforEVERYchild.

What do you get when you mix puppets, our Children's Council, Board members and a splash of creativity? A morning of fun and inspiration provided by Branar theatre, who will be at The Ark all month with their show How To Catch A Star!

Parents and babies (up to 1 year) are invited to The Ark’s Workshop Space for a gentle, playful and creatively physical movement session on Friday, December 5th led by artist Gráinne O’Carroll. Think dance-meets-meditation-meets-textiles-playground!
